Every horse has its own preference of pressure behind the ears. For that reason UNIQ Bridles has eight different models of headpieces. The Athene headpiece is made of Italian vegetable tanned leather and soft padding. The area around the horse’s neck behind the ears is highly sensitive, with numerous nerves and ligaments. To alleviate pressure from the bridle, the soft, anatomically shaped head piece has a recess on the cervical vertebra, which effectively relieves the top of the spine of the horse and ensures optimal distribution of pressure.
